The fourth and final round of the GSeries Andorra ice championship has resulted in a second position for Joan Lascorz in the Side by Side category.

Joan has thus managed to improve the fourth and third position of past meetings of the GSeries. In the different qualifying series, he has competed face to face with the great ice dominators Yann Le Potier and Frank Cabaner, and has surpassed other illustrious wildcards such as the Suzuki MotoGP riders, Joan Mir and Alex Rins. In the 1B Final he achieved the absolute triumph, while in the grand G4 final he finished in second position.

Thus ends Joan’s first contact with the ice on his adapted Can-Am. The installation of ice controls on his buggy was similar to the configuration he has in rally raid for karting: with the right hand you operate a lever with which gives you gas when you turn it to the right and brakes with a movement inwards.

Joan Lascorz: “A marvel to enjoy turning the wheel in this way. I came close to first; we can almost caress victory.”
